Client Advisor

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Client Communications Consultant on the development and implementation of our year-round
client communication strategy
• Answer inquiries (phone calls, email and mail) from clients promptly and professionally
• Follow through on client issues from start to resolution including any necessary follow up
• Document all conversations and activities in CRM
• Advise other company teams of issues that affect clients
• Conduct group meetings, one-on-one meetings and telephone appointments as assigned
• Explain products and options to clients, provide renewal recommendation and complete enrollments
• Ensure that all appointments are conducted professionally and courteously
• Serve as a back-up to other areas of Service Operations including the Benefit Advisor and Client Service
Teams
• Follow all Medicare, FFM and MBSS compliance rules
• Assist Manager with establishing and updating processes and procedures
• Assist Manager with orientation and training of seasonal hires
• Mentor new department hires
• Serve as an MBSS ambassador internally and externally, displaying our core values of integrity, family,
teamwork, knowledge, and communication
• Meet all established performance goals as outlined on the Performance Contract as well as company goals

Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
• Strong oral, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong people and relational skills
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, be a team player
• Strong organizational skills; analytic skills and attentive to detail
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Great time management skills; able to multi-task
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and the Internet
• Able to quickly learn and navigate CRM and other company tools and resources
• Self-motivated and takes initiative appropriate for job
• Flexible; able to work late and weekends as necessary
• 1 – 2 years of customer service experience
• Insurance background and license (will be required after hiring)
